Today was a day of doing a project that @silvertop had put off for almost 6 months! More on that in a moment.
Today found me heading to ladies Bible study. It was more on Colossians. We had a new member to the group as well.
Today was also a very rainy day. No getting outside to do much of anything. So, @silvertop got out the screen kit I’d given him for Christmas. It was time to fix the screen on his old SE 2020! It took us 2 1/2 + hours to get it done. It was a joint effort as you really need 4 hands to do that kind of thing. It works great, including the finger print security which I understand is easy to get damaged in the process. 😅 See @silvertop’s post for more details.
As for my project-I did it last night while cooking dinner. We had recently gone to a local nursery. They had beautiful plants and I got some but I also wanted an air plant. They were pricey and I’m cheap, lol! So I ordered an assortment on Amazon of 12 plants. Then I realized I needed something to put them in/on. I perused online looking for something, but again, the cost was more than I wanted to spend. I did however, see something that inspired me to make my own!
I gathered a couple of pieces of wood we use for kindling and a couple different sizes of popsicle sticks. I was looking for a sort of rustic look. Here’s the end result.
This was a quick put together and worked very well. My plants are happy! 😁
Yesterday, we hiked the Gold Mine Trail, and here’s more pictures from that. These 2 horses (the first picture) were communicating with the steers across the road. I wish I’d gotten both sides of the road at the same time, but they were definitely talking to each other. What I wonder, do they talk about?
I promised more moss pictures. Here they are.

Tomorrow is Monday for me. We are booked but Thursday and Friday are easier, at least for now.
