…..want for Christmas? Yeah, I know what you’re thinking; it’s too early, but is it? I mean, just blink and before you know it, it’ll be here! So today, what begs to be answered is just what would you like for Christmas? In asking my kitty boys, the first thing they said is that they want one of these Christmas stockings!
Of course, they want catnip so they can end up like this!

Then, to add to that, a menagerie of kitty toys, preferably with catnip in them!
Of course, it goes without saying some lovely canned food and of course, kitty treats!

Work went well. I got a lot of stuff done. My new gal texted me and said she might not be in tomorrow. I’m beginning to think that this might not work out. The first week she worked for the doc, she was 12 minutes late the first day and called in sick the second. The second week, called off the Thursday and the third week, was on time the first day and 40 minutes late the second. Now this week, she’s texted me already say she may not be in tomorrow. 🤯 She’s already told me for next week, she won’t be in at all-says she pre-arranged that with the doc. However, I’ve not been able to talk about it yet with him as he’s still on vacation. That would be week 5 of her employment with us. If she’s truly not in tomorrow, that’s about a 50% of days worked since she’s been employed. 🧐 I can’t even really train her for just normal office procedures for our office. She’s not there long enough to retain much.
I have no idea what the doc will say to it. I know I would NEVER dream of calling off any of if I was that new of an employee!
Such is my world at work-for now anyway.

Hey sis....Well......yes, one would think so, but the doc is the hire-er and fire-er; not me (boy am I glad too for many reasons!) He's unaware of the things over the past two weeks.
Today, she showed up and on time too. There's still the thing next week though and I have to wonder whether or not he will really remember that he's supposedly agreed to her being gone.
Maybe part of the problem too, is that I've run solo for so long and he knows I can do it and just turns a blind eye to what anyone else does. I don't know, but it does make me frustrated.
Today went pretty well, but I was seriously busy and can't rely on her to run total interference, adjust frames or do anything else regarding the optical end. As a receptionist, she is good.
The doc gets back next week. 10 to 1 he won't let her go. I have mixed feelings about the whole thing.
