A wedding in church today. It wasn't really a wedding; it was more of a blessing. The couple have been together for close to 15 years and the have 3 children. Officially, they've not been married, just cohabiting. They did the traditional marriage earlier in the morning and came for blessings in church where they signed the legal documents. They are now recognised by the state, the church and the families. Was a good day in church, the only downside being the time we closed. Today was my retired pastor's thanksgiving service and we did that with the blessings. In all, God was in control.
