La mayoría de los calisténicos no somos muy de ir al gimnasio. Hay excepciones, pero a mí particularmente el lugar me da pereza. El ambiente es cerrado, la música no me gusta, siempre hay gente haciendo tonterías que poco o nada tienen que ver con una manera formal, integra y eficaz para conseguir un objetivo. En fin, podría durar horas explicando por qué en lo que a mí respecta, me resulta un lugar aburridísimo. Pero… sí, siempre hay excepciones, siempre hay algo que marca la diferencia y te hace decir “si es así, entonces si me gusta”. Me encanta entrenar con mis amigos.
Últimamente, buscamos tener experiencias diferentes, adaptar nuestro cuerpo a estímulos diferentes, y sabes… no somos enemigos de las pesas. El día de ayer hicimos un paseo al gym, no sin antes tomarme una buena tasa de café sin azúcar.
Como ellos son unos modelos, les encanta posar. A mí me da algo de vergüenza, pero les sigo el juego. Son capaces de hacer que un día de gimnasio me resulte divertido. Esa fue mi actividad de ayer. El gimnasio queda a 3 kilómetros de mi casa y nos fuimos caminando. Siempre hay una que otra cosa divertida en el camino como ese cartel que ven en la foto, que dice “No botar basura aquí. Maldición”. 🤣

Most of us calisthenics are not very much into going to the gym. There are exceptions, but for me in particular the place makes me lazy. The atmosphere is closed, I don't like the music, there are always people fooling around that have little or nothing to do with a formal, integrated and effective way to achieve a goal. Anyway, I could go on for hours explaining why, as far as I'm concerned, I find it a boring place. But... yes, there are always exceptions, there is always something that makes a difference and makes you say "if that's the way it is, then I like it". I love training with my friends.
Lately, we are looking to have different experiences, adapt our body to different stimuli, and you know... we are not enemies of weights. Yesterday we took a walk to the gym, but not before I had a nice cup of coffee without sugar.
Since they are models, they love to pose. I'm a little embarrassed, but I play along. They are able to make a day at the gym fun for me. That was my activity yesterday. The gym is 2 miles from my house and we walked. There's always a funny thing or two along the way like that sign you see in the picture that says "No littering here. Damn." 🤣
