I woke up early because of our neighbors hammering around 6am, and the other neighbor is making a rattling sound of LPG bumping against each other.
I prepared our breakfast, as usual, as well as our lunch and dinner. I worked on my online tasks too.
My wife and I went to the town proper in the afternoon as we paid our CEDULA or residential tax. It's quite late but better than never. We also headed to the post office to apply for Postal ID. The lady told us to complete the requirements first in an unfriendly way. Government workers should be friendly and welcoming, that's all I can say.
We went to the supermarket afterwards to buy our needs but it took us an hour to reach our turn despite being at the third slot. The cashier looks like under training, and finished the service on a customer every 30 minutes. We got home around 5pm already.

Wow! Sounds like not the best day! You are right; government workers should serve you with a smile! Besides, are we not really charged with treating people the way we want to be treated?
As for the check out girl; everybody has to learn, however, her manager should have gotten additional help to keep the lines short. 30 plus minutes is a long time to wait, especially if you have items needing a refrigerator!

Yes. These government workers are acting like bosses when in fact, their salary comes from our taxes.
Actually, all the cashiers are very slow. The service is pretty bad.

It's actually designed by an American after the World War 1. That was when US colonized our country.

I don't see it coming though. Hopefully, the current Russia and Ukraine war will end. We are all affected.
Hopefully it will end soon, I think Putin needs to "save face" not sure how that will work out.....
