What a way to go out of the last OTF HIIT workout of 2021, for Tiffany and me! An awesome power session with a countdown vibe to rep New Years Eve. 🥵🎉
Although, we took some hits physically; Tiffa and I pushed through many Orangetheory sessions and got through a handful of running event in 2021.
I wholeheartedly believe that it sets us up to get back to pre-pandemic levels including the sustenance part and getting back to the aggressive health and fitness approach that has served us well the handful of years.
We don’t believe in resolutions. It’s a lifestyle, plain and simple. Treat your body right and it will do right by you.
Floor Block
Beast Mode and very busy template
• 5 rounds of (each total is one round - starting at 10):
• 10 / 8 / 6 / 4 / 2 x push up
• 10 / 8 / 6 / 4 / 2 x pop jack
• 700m row (once only)
I definitely kept the weights at a very low number:
• 5 rounds of (each total is one round - starting at 10):
• 10 / 8 / 6 / 4 / 2 x upright row (20 pounders and went down to 15’s)
• 10 / 8 / 6 / 4 / 2 x neutral grip front raises (15 pounders)
• 500m row (once only)
• 5 rounds of (each total is one round - starting at 9):
• 9 / 7 / 5 / 3 / 1 x TRX jump squat
• 9 / 7 / 5 / 3 / 1 x TRX bridge row
• 300m row (once only)
• 5 rounds of (each total is one round - starting at 9):
• 9 / 7 / 5 / 3 / 1 x straight leg raise
• 9 / 7 / 5 / 3 / 1 x toe reach
• 100m row (once only)
• If finished then repeat all exercises at 10 reps
I finished a round on the repeat
Tread Block
% = incline
I ran as low as 6mph and as high as a 10 during the incline drop.
• 1 minute push @ 10%
• 75 second walking recovery
• 1 minute push @ 9%
• 75 second walking recovery
• 1 minute push @ 8%
• 75 second walking recovery
• 1 minute push @ 7%
• 75 second walking recovery
• 1 minute push @ 6%
• 75 second walking recovery
• 1 minute push @ 5%
• 75 second walking recovery
• 1 minute push @ 4%
• 75 second walking recovery
• 1 minute push @ 3%
• 75 sec walking recovery
• 1 minute push @ 2%
• 75 second walking recovery
• 1 minute push on a flat 1%
• 75 second walking recovery
• 30 second All Out (I ran this at 12 mph and no I’ll effects from the hamstring injury crept up) - I am ready to crush it with my speed again in 2022 🙏🏼
