There are several nutrients that when lacking in adequate quantities in our body can produce this broken nail effect. Always keep in mind that if your nails are weak and brittle it could surely be due to several reasons such as, for example, bodily disorders, external aggressions, or a deficient diet, especially in certain vitamins that perform very important functions in our body, in addition to maintaining our nails healthy and strong.


Vitamin B9, also known as folic acid, which in addition to belonging to the vitamin B complex, is an essential nutrient due to its regenerative properties that help accelerate the growth and cellular renewal of many structures in our body, including our bodies. skin and hair.


This is because folic acid is necessary in the production of cells by our body. A deficiency of vitamin B9 or folic acid would thus affect the regeneration and growth of new cells, so in the end they will become, for example, brittle nails due to poor growth.


Among the foods rich in vitamins B9 we find asparagus, broccoli, beets, beets, I don't know what they call it in your country... avocado or avocado, hazelnuts, lentils and chickpeas, leafy vegetables such as spinach or lettuce, beans, peanuts, sunflower seeds, fresh fruits, especially citrus fruits and whole grains.
