This natural fruit provides between 20 and 25 grams of carbohydrates. That is, the same as an energy gel, although in a natural way.


It must be kept in mind that these values ​​will surely vary according to the type of banana you are consuming and also its ripening point, the greater the ripening they have, the more sugar they have and also a higher glycemic index, this index being the speed with which which sugar enters your bloodstream and is available to your body. And what we generally look for when we are not yet training is that the glycemic index of the foods is medium to low.
