I walked the puppy today as usual and did a few things around the house and yard. I trimmed back the blackberries where they were starting to setup new runners. They really like to take over the yard if you don't keep them trimmed back.
My son and I met a friend at the disc golf course who was just starting a round. He wanted us to join in so we played the eighteen hole round together. The scores were not all that good but the round was very fun to play.
This time of year it gets dark early so it is harder to get a full round in.
Nobody lost any disc today but yesterday the friend we were playing with lost a Firebird disc in the river. It happens sometimes but it is never easy when you lose one.
Here's some pictures of a couple of bugs I spotted today in the blackberry bushes:
They seemed like a couple and were hanging out close together.
The bigger one hide under the leaf right away when they saw the camera.

Hi buddy @lightsplasher, does this bug like to prey on caterpillars or prey on aphids?
I'm not really sure, my guess is aphids or other smaller bugs. Perhaps they might have been after the fruit fly worms in the berries.

Probably the female bug... forgot to put on makeup so it's hiding from the camera. 🤣
I'm thinking it was the female too. Maybe protecting the eggs or something. The male is more likely the one that stood his ground with a, "whatever that odd thing is, I'll spray it if it gets any closer," attitude. :)
