My Actifit: March 27 2020

in Actifit4 years ago

Got up earlier than normal this morning so we could run to a couple stores for some needed items before the "shelter in place" takes effect at midnight.

When we got home I put in a day of work. Then we had dinner and pondered our night.

First we played a game. Seemed appropriate that we played Pandemic.

We won but it was getting close.

Then we decided to put together a puzzle we had gotten in January. It is the Horsehead Nebula. The pieces are cut differently than a normal puzzle which you can see in the picture below.

And here it is completed next to the reference picture.

The puzzle looks amazing, I never have seen such tiles. The weirdest I know is an all white puzzle (which I never tried :-D) and the pandemic game... good you won 🤣

The difficult part of the puzzle is that the pieces are pretty uniform in width so there are many times that a piece will fit fine but is actually the wrong piece.
I seem to recall a puzzle called something like the purple monster that was all purple. Sounds similar to the white one you mentioned. I have not tried either as I don't want that level of frustration.
