Saludos queridos amigos de Actifit, Saludos queridos amigos de Actifit, hoy compartiré con ustedes lo que fue mi primer intento tratando de trotar desde el Centro Comercial “Las Américas” hasta el Toro (frente al Zoológico de Maracay). Ciertamente había estado algo olvidado de mis reportes de actividades, pero la razón era que la aplicación me estaba arrojando una falla y finalmente tuve que instalar en otro dispositivo para poder contar los pasos. Hoy en la tarde me decidí finalmente a dar el primer paso, el cual era trotar por la caminería de la avenida Las Delicias, esta es la primera vez que troto por esta vía, solo realizaba esta ruta cuando manejo bicicleta.

A eso de las 5:20 pm llegué al centro comercial y estacioné ahí mi moto para iniciar el trote. Cabe destacar que todo fue muy improvisado, ya que desde hace tiempo había pasado por mi mente esta idea de trotar por este lugar, solo que me daba mucha pena e inseguridad, finalmente decidí romper con ese miedo y tomé la iniciativa esta tarde.

Certainly I had been a bit forgetful of my activity reports, but the reason was that the application was giving me a glitch and I finally had to install it on another device to be able to count the steps. Today in the afternoon I finally decided to take the first step, which was to jog along the path of Las Delicias Avenue, this is the first time I jog along this road, I only did this route when I ride a bike.

At about 5:20 pm I arrived at the shopping centre and parked my bike there to start jogging. It should be noted that everything was very improvised, since for a long time I had been thinking about jogging through this place, but I was very embarrassed and insecure, finally I decided to break with that fear and took the initiative this afternoon.

Las expectativas eran altas, pero debo admitir que aún me falta mucha resistencia para dominar con destreza este recorrido trotando. Trotar en Las Ballenas no es lo mismo que trotar en este lugar, ya que la pista de las ballenas tiene casi el mismo nivel en su recorrido, mientras que el trayecto desde el centro comercial hacia el Toro es en ascenso, es decir, trotas cuesta arriba.

La experiencia fue genial y agotadora, lo logré tomar muchas fotos y luego de un descanso en el punto de llegada me devolví hacia el centro comercial caminando. Nos vemos en una próxima entrega.

Expectations were high, but I must admit that I still lack a lot of stamina to master this jogging course. Jogging in Las Ballenas is not the same as jogging in this place, as the whale track has almost the same level in its course, while the route from the shopping centre to the Toro is uphill, i.e. you are jogging uphill.

The experience was great and exhausting, I managed to take a lot of pictures and after a break at the arrival point I walked back to the mall. See you in a future installment.
