Ruta corta hasta la estación del Río
Short route to the Río station
Hoy a eso de las 5:30 pm me decidí ir al cerro, estaba indeciso, sin embargo, finalmente mientras conducía mi moto me motivé a ir a la montaña.
Estando ya en la entrada de la Serranía de las Delicias me dispuse a subir, mientras me preparaba un conocido me escribió para que lo esperara para subir juntos hasta la estación del río. Una vez llegó Víctor procedimos a iniciar el recorrido, yo ya estaba agotado en el primer kilómetro, la verdad fue ahí donde me di cuenta que había perdido mis condiciones físicas para el senderismo.
Me detuve un par de veces para descansar y para tomar algunas fotografías, finalmente al cabo de unos 40 minutos finalmente llegamos a la estación del río. Nos quedamos un par de minutos, pero nos apresuramos en bajar puesto que había gran presencia de nubes oscuras sobre nosotros y estaba por llover.
Así transcurrió y se desarrolló esta primera ruta senderista que realicé en la tarde del día domingo. Espero disfruten del video, del recorrido y de los paisajes de mi ciudad.
Today, at around 5:30 pm, I decided to go to the hill. I was undecided, but finally, while riding my motorbike, I motivated myself to go to the mountain.
Once I was at the entrance to the Serranía de las Delicias, I set out to climb it. While I was getting ready, a friend texted me to wait for him so we could climb up to the river station together. Once Victor arrived, we set off on the hike. I was already exhausted after the first kilometre. To be honest, that's when I realised that I was no longer in good enough physical shape for hiking.
I stopped a couple of times to rest and take some photos. Finally, after about 40 minutes, we reached the river station. We stayed for a couple of minutes, but we hurried back down because there were dark clouds above us and it was about to rain.
That's how my first hiking route on Sunday afternoon unfolded. I hope you enjoy the video, the route, and the landscapes of my city.

Happy start to the week! Seeing these photos reminds me that I almost went for the first time a few weeks ago when I was still on vacation, but it was January 3rd and all my plans were automatically canceled. Your photos of Maracay are beautiful; it's a perfect angle to appreciate the buildings with Lake Valencia in the background, unlike the Ocumara road, which is farther away. I hope to see and photograph it someday. In the meantime, I'm enjoying this post. Great job Manuel!...

Muchas gracias por tu comentario y por tu apoyo amigo Jesús, la vista desde la Serranía de las Delicias esconde mucha belleza desde cualquier ángulo, te invio a que hagas algún momento esa ruta, ya sea hasta la estación del río o la estación del Container.
