POLIAC Champions League Season 2 - Access List and Qualifications

Following my post on POLIAC Champions League qualification rules, I'd like to open the access list to everyone. In parallel, I am going to confirm current participants and outline an EXAMPLE of how the qualifications would be played should no one else wish to participate.

The tournament will be played in bi-monthly cycles, called seasons. As of now, each season will be played by 16 participants, preceded by qualifications. A season is composed of a group phase (4 groups, double round robin) followed by play-offs (quarterfinal and semifinal over two legs and final with a single match).

Participants play "matches" with scoring based on ActiFit reports. Here are the rules for Season 1, which is still in progress. Note: I will update them to be generic and valid for all seasons.

The remaining (X-Qa = 16) entrants will be drawn into pairs, with highest ranked players seeded (ie. they cannot play against each other)

Qualifications setup - if the number of entrants > 24

Should this happen, there will be 2 qualification rounds. Higher ranked participants will start qualifiers from Round 2, the rest will need first to battle thru Round 1 and the winners will advance to Round 2.
