It does not exercise or workout related but I did walk just to be clear. While I was walking early in the morning I noticed candlelight from a distance. I took a closer look and let me tell you about some trivia here in my country about lighting a candle.
Perhaps you are all aware that lighting a candle means offering a prayer to those souls. We wish that they will be at peace since they left this world. Sometimes pray to God by offering a candle in some churches or images that symbolize our God and Saints. Well, I'm a Roman Catholic after all and that's what I believe. Although this is not about religion. It just became a tradition that passes from our ancestors.
Another way of lighting candles from us Filipinos when it's our birthday. We lighted candles in the Church because we are thankful to God for another year that has given to us. It will be done during the day of our birthday. We should not forget to light candles and offer a prayer. Although not all people or Roman Catholic people does because some of them ignored it even though they didn't forget it.
