Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Monday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. It's a new week and I have had another great day, hopefully yours is coming along nicely. You know how we do, time to share my stepping activities of the day and also some of the trending stories that caught my eye 👀. Thank you for reading and let's take it away 💨.
So just like yesterday, I kicked off with the fast paced morning session. A shorter one though I really enjoyed it.
Next I was back indoors, where I rested for a while before logging into my emails and trending news of the day.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going.
Globally, Ukraine still trending, Russia still pushing hard to take control of the Donetsk region, also today shelling in Kharkiv 😱. The Dutch PM stopped by Kyiv to show Zelensky support. Putin signed a decree to accelerate immediate Russian citizenship to Ukrainians 😹. Elsewhere in Paris, France PM survived a no confidence vote in parliament, the hard left opposition lost its attempt to dismiss govt.
Over in crypto land, bitcoin still sideways, today mostly at 20k, do keep hodling 💯.
I did settle down to some crypto analysis videos and also handled the cleaning chores of the day.
Later in the afternoon, I stopped by the city for a few errands, then headed back home 🏡. Next came the usual nap 💤. It was amazing and I got up some time early evening and continued watching some of the earlier videos and also news.
Trending in the UK,we should know who will be the new PM by September 5th, Boris has refused to endorse any of the candidates 😹. Elsewhere in Sri Lanka, parliament will meet to select a new president. In crazy weather,a heat wave has gripped parts of Spain and Portugal, temperature reaching up to 48°C. Meanwhile we are freezing in Nairobi, the temperature right now is 14°C, I have had to add another blanket to the bed😹.
Anyways, as the evening set in, I had my ginger tea ☕ and then stepped out for the sunset 🌇☀️🌅 walk. Followed the usual route, slow paced enjoying the cool evening breeze 🍃.
