Hello everyone π,
Happy hump day ππ and a very warm welcome to my world π. It's been another great day stepping it out and as always it's that time of day to slow down and take a look at how my day has been. I'm gonna share some of the trending stories too. It's about to go down, come on π¨.
So just like yesterday, I had a short fast paced morning session, brisk walking π£ and jogging ππ around the neighborhood π². It was a little chilly but I did enjoy the fresh morning breeze π.
Next I was back indoors, where I rested for a while before logging into my emails and trending news of the day.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans πΉ kept going and so did the election campaigning..
Globally, Sri Lanka trending after the president escaped to the Maldives. The PM declared himself president but the protesters are having none of that πΉ. Violent protests followed and now a state of emergency is in place. Elsewhere in Istanbul, the UN has managed to secure safe exportation of grain out of Ukraine where millions of tonnes of grain are stuck. Successful talks are what is needed to end that war. In Ukraine, shelling still going on in the Donetsk region.
Over in crypto land, bitcoin still sideways at 19k, do keep hodling π―. There was talk of a price dip as btc held from collapsed Mt. Gox exchange, are set to be released to their true owners. That time in 2013 btc was less than a thousand.
I did settle down to some crypto analysis videos and also handled the cleaning chores of the day. Inflation in the US at a 40 year highπ±.
Later in the afternoon, I stopped by the city centre for a couple of errands. Then I was back indoors for the usual nap π€.
It was amazing and I woke up some time early evening and continued watching some of the earlier videos and also news.
Also trending, US president Biden is on a tour of the middle east. First landed in Tel Aviv then later to Saudi Arabia. They are saying the current situation is what forced this trip. Someone has to convince the Saudis to pump more oil as prices get out of handπ―. In crazy weather, the heat is on in Europe, Spain and France fighting sporadic wild fires as temps soarπ±.
Anyways as the evening set in, I had my ginger tea β and then stepped out for the sunset πβοΈπ
walk. It was amazing, slow paced enjoying the cool evening breeze π. And today the moon π was quite bright.
