Happy Sunday π and a very warm welcome to my world. Hopefully you are enjoying your weekend, my day has been great and am grateful π―. It's now that time to slow down and get ready for bed π€. Before that let's quickly take a look at how my day has been and also share some of the trending stories. Please keep reading π and let's take it away π¨.
So just like yesterday, I had a short morning session, brisk walking π£ around the neighborhood π². It was a cloudy morning but the fresh air π was superb..
Next I was back indoors where I rested for a while before logging into my emails and trending news of the day.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans πΉ kept going and so did the election campaigning around the country.
Globally, Ukraine still trending with heavy fighting in the Donbas region. Russia hit a ukrainian depot with NATO donated weapons π’. A Russian general announced they would be ramping up attacks. Elsewhere in France,they marked 80 years since mass arrests of Jews in Paris, who were later deported to concentration camps π’. Unfortunately anti semitism still exists up to this day.
Over in crypto land, bitcoin still sideways mostly at 20 and 21k, let's see how this new week treats us. Definitely keep hodling π―.
I did settle down to some crypto analysis videos and also handled the cleaning chores of the day including laundry.
Next I stopped by the shopping center for some cooking groceries. Then I was back indoors where I had my usual nap π€.
I woke up some time early evening and continued watching some of the earlier videos and also news.
Trending in Sri Lanka, four contenders for the presidency have been namedπ. Elsewhere in Sudan the resilient protesters were back to the streets, they want the military outπ―. In crazy weather, that heatwave in Europe continued to cause wild fires in some European countries. The UK set for 40Β°C forecast for Monday π±. Heatwave warning in China too, with alerts issued for many cities.
Anyways, as the evening set in, I had my ginger tea β and then stepped out for the sunset πβοΈπ
walk. As always, slow paced enjoying the cool evening breeze π. A bit chilly thoughβΊοΈ.
