Happy Thursday π and a very warm welcome to my world π. It's been another superb and active day. As bedtime beckons, am raring to go with my stepping activities and also share some of the trending stories I came across. Please keep reading π and let's get things going π¨
So today I had a nice morning session with a couple rounds of brisk walking π£ around the neighborhood π².It was cloudy but that fresh morning breezeπmade it quite enjoyable. Then I was back indoors for a little bit of resting before embarking on the usual house chores. In between I did keep updated on the trending news and also entertained myself with some good music. Later in the afternoon, I was out to the city centre for a couple of errands . Then I got back home and went into my usual refreshing napπ€. A little later in the early evening, I was up cooking and preparing for the slow paced sunset walk. Next, let's quickly look at what has been trending in the world.
Locally, the usual political shenanigansπΉ kept going, the Singaporean PM is on a state visit to Kenya, met the Kenyan president for discussions.
Globally, Ukraine trending, Russia sent another wave of drones and missiles at Kyiv but fortunately the air defense is holding up as 29 of the 30 were interceptedπ.
Meanwhile in Bakmut Ukraine has made significant progress in repelling Russian forces capturing bigger areas.
Lets go to the middle east where Israel stepped up security in occupied east Jerusalem before flag day march. Flag day march celebrates the 1967 capture and occupation of East Jerusalem by Israeli forces. Thousands of Israelis including politicians made incursions into the Al Aqsa mosque compound. Palestinians see this as a provocationπ.
In turn, Palestinians demonstrated in Gaza waving their flags as they gathered at the fortified border wall.
A few canisters of tear gas were thrown to disperse the crowdπ.
Speaking of flag day, across the pond in Haiti it's flag day too, recognizing the adoption of the red and blue flag in 1803. However many Haitians are using flag day to protest against political instability alland gang violence π.
Meanwhile, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, thousands of people have been protesting the high costs of living and low wages for a second day. Things are tough with an inflation rate of 109%π.
Finally a report from Goldman Sachs says AI will affect 300 million jobs across major economies π, accountants, software engineers, admin assistants, journalists and other repetitive type of jobs will mostly be taken over by AI.Governments may have to pay citizens some sort of basic income.Lets wait and see but by 2030 it will be a different worldπΉ.

The AI thing comes with mixed consequences, loss of jobs and creation, it remains to be seen which will be affected most. You are right 2020 will be different, I hope we will be on the winning side.
Oh yes, we will definitely be on the winning side, I expect BTC to have 5x or 10x from the current price and so will other cryptos. These are just conservative figures as no one can tell the exact figures, some have predicted a million dollars per btc by 2030. Imagine what price hive will be if that happens.
