Hello everyoneπ»,
Happy Saturday or is it CaturdayπΉ. I am definitely missing Bob as another caturday π passes with me away from home. Anyways I have had another great day here in London.
Thank you for joining me yet again as I take you through my stepping and also a quick look at what's trending globally.
So I started the day with an early morning walk to the grocery store, then I made a few steps around the road before heading back.
A cloudy, misty morning, however the afternoon saw some sun rays come through giving way to a beautiful sunset π later in the evening as I made my final walk of the day.
Still exploring areas around my neighbourhood π². The sun π set way past 7pm.
So that was the stepping, let's next look at the trending stories from around the world.
The blood shed in Gaza kept going as more than 80 Palestinians were killed in Israeli strikes across war torn Gaza.
In the north, residential buildings were struck in Jabaliya refugee camp. While in the south in Rafa, airstrikes kept going tooπ.
UN says 800,000 people have filed Rafa as the airstrikes rip through the area.
In Israel thousands gathered in Tel Aviv asking the govt to do more to secure safe release of captives held in Gaza.
Meanwhile, war cabinet minister Benny Gantz has threatened to quit govt if a post war plan is not unveiled and followed. Netanyahu is only about blindly eliminating Hamas without outlining the next steps of the warπΉ.
In the other war, Russia still doing the most taking over villages close to Kharkivπ. Over ten thousand people have fled Kharkiv as Russia advances.
The recruitment age has been lowered from 27 to 25 years as Ukraine tries to increase the number of its soldiers on the war front.
Then, Georgia trending as the president vetoed the foreign agents bill, sending it back to parliament. There have been serious protests to the controversial bill that many say will curtail their freedoms and jeopardize the country's future plan to join the EU.
Still in Europe, pro Palestinian demonstrations have been going on in various cities, the biggest one held in London as protesters called for an immediate ceasefire.
Across the pond in the US , similar pro Palestinian demonstrations are ongoing in Washington DC where hundreds are gathered.
Finally in sports, German club Leverkusen have made history by being the first team to end the bundesliga unbeatenπ. Congratulations to them, well doneπ―π.
Also trending, Briton Tyson Fury is going one on one with Ukrainian, Oleksandr Usyk for the heavyweight boxing title fight in Saudi Arabia. May the best person win, good luck to both of themπ―
So that was Caturday πΉ and I wanna thank you for reading this far. I truly appreciate your continued support and love.
See you again tomorrow on an amazing Sunday funday. Until then keep stepping and enjoying yourselves to the max. Hakuna Matata π».
