Happy hump πͺ day and a very warm welcome to my report. We are bang in the middle of the week this last Wednesday of August. Hope everyone is doing great.
As always thank you for stopping by and let's go ahead and look at how my day went including the stories that caught my eye π.Here we go again π¨.
So just like yesterday, the rain was on this morning so I had to skip the morning walk. I did some stretches and then got to handling the usual house chores.
Later in the day, I kept up with all the trending stories and watched some YouTube and checked twitter too.
So I did finish off my day with the slow paced sunset π walk around the neighborhood. It looked quite cloudy but didn't rain.
So now let's get into the trending stories that caught my eye π.
Starting of in Gaza, more starvation with the Netanyahu manmade famine;313 dead from hunger including 119 childrenπΏ.
There's new astonishing levels of desperation. 1 in 3 people are now without food for days on a row.
Very disheartening especially the bony children. The worst is yet to come as Israel continues the weaponization of food. Concentration camps may be coming up in the southπ.
Apart from the hunger, the mass murder/ genocide kept going with 51 Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrikes targeting HamasπΏ.
Gaza city is up for seizure with almost 1 million people to be forcibly pushed to the southern part of the strip.
In the other war, Trump has promised measures against Russia if they don't co-operate on the peace process.
Speaking of Trump, his proposed 50% tax on India comes into effect tomorrow. This after Trump was angered by India's continued purchase of Russian oil in high quantities helping Putin fund his invasion and destruction of Ukraineπ.
Across the pond in the US, the ugly gun crime trend reared its head in Minneapolis, a deranged gunman killed two children and injured 17 when he fired through a church window during a mass at a Catholic schoolπ.
Police said the 23 year old man was dead and they were looking into his motive for the attack.
Finally, in crazy weather, floods have wreaked havoc in Northern India and Pakistan up the borderπ. There has been heavy damage to roads, buildings and other infrastructure. Thousands of people have been evacuated to higher ground.
Fingers crossed that all will be back to normal ASAPπ―.
