With the dry Summer weather in the Pacific Northwest, Silvertop is looking for water!😀
I have considered putting in a second water well for household backup and for Liz’s garden.
This morning Liz and Silvertop went “Water Witching”!😊
I can hear the comments now Lol…..🤣
First off, this has nothing to do with Witches, or Witchcraft!😇
Our youngest son Bill is a city employee near Seattle, and is responsible for locating underground utility before someone comes to dig.
Thousands of dollars of damage could occur if he fails to accurately pinpoint underground utilities.
He gets sideways looks when he pulls out two steel rods, and questioning looks when the rods cross….🤔
“Yep the water line is right here!”🤗
No one can prove or disprove what really is happening, but this is the best explanation I have read…………
Flowing water, or just water in general, can conduct an electrical charge. This charge can be picked up by walking across the ground holding metal rods loosely in your hands.
It’s very surprising to see the rods cross!😲
I first tried this in my home when we were first Married years ago. I walked through the house, and watched the metal rods cross, only to discover water pipes in that exact spot, in the basement!😳
I think Liz just found water!🥰
Sometimes you need to get creative with household water.
The third photo was taken deep in the forest. Contained inside this plastic box is a “Water Ram”. This Ram takes flowing spring water for our neighbor Keith and Lynne, and uses the inertia of water flowing to backwards pump water uphill thousands of feet with zero electricity, amazing! This supplies all of Keith and Lynn’s household water, just from a Spring!🤗
Liz took @actifit-lamb and several of her family members on today’s hike!😊
@actifit-lamb was extremely interested in how Keith supplied spring water to their home! Lambs need plenty of fresh water!😇
They just weren’t too sure about a “Ram!”😲

We have to encourage @actifit-lamb to get her hooves moving on a post next week! She's become a bit lazy where the computer is concerned. Perhaps it's time she attended school! I can hear her now, " Noooooooo!" Guess she will be honing those computer skills soon, lol!
