Dobrý večer, dnes jsme navštívil Pirátův pramen. Pirátův pramen je hydrogenuhličitanová vápenato-hořečnatá železnatá slabě mineralizovaná kyselka. Pramen se nachází v Pottově údolí v lázeňských lesích nad parkem u Prelátova pramene. Původ názvu pramene není doložen, ale Pottovo údolí, ve kterém pramen leží, bylo pojmenováno po úšovickém obyvateli Hanse Podda (často psáno jako Podda), který se zde v počátku 16. století pokoušel těžit zlato. Good evening, today we visited Pirate’s Spring. Pirate’s Spring is a bicarbonate calcium-magnesium iron-bearing weakly mineralized acidulous water. The spring is located in Pott’s Valley in the spa forests above the park near Prelate’s Spring. The origin of the spring’s name is not documented, but Pott’s Valley, where the spring lies, was named after a resident of Úšovice, Hans Pott (often written as Podda), who attempted to mine gold here at the beginning of the 16th century
