Btw, I thought of something.
Instead of a houseboat if thats too expensive to maintain, what about a tinyhouse?
This is something new. I looked it up. The idea of tiny houses is awesome, but they are very expensive. At least in my country (Hungary). The cheapest is around $36 882 USD. And a land lot/plot is also needed for a tiny house. You can buy a real house for around $3500 USD in the countryside parts of Hungary. But even that price is more than my annual pension-like income, which is approximately $3000 USD.
How is the tinyhouse more expensive than a real house?! Haha xD
Well, you don't havw to have a plot, the tiny house can be on wheels and or if you find a nice elderly people living in the countryside, you might be allowed to park your house there :D
Much more expensive. Probably because a tinyhouse is new and mobile, and the real house is used and fixed (mostly in a village for the $3500 USD price).

Container houses? I looked it up. The price of a new container house is very expensive, similar to (a little bit less expensive than) a tinyhouse. A used container house is around $9600 USD. So this is also very expensive.
