RE: High as Hope - Florence and the Machine - A deep analysis of what I love and what I do not

in Musiclast month

Saw them once and Florence climbed the stage rig. I haven't seen many rig climbers in my gig days. Even mentalists like the libertines never climbed a rig. I think Green Day did once. But yeah she climbed that rig like a baddie while singing that Kiss with a fist

Sort:

The singer of Suicidal Tendencies did that in Edinburgh when I saw them many years ago. You are right, it's not a common thing!

..'Just one Pepsi
And she wouldn't give it to me'...

The lyrics are great!...

They totally agree, I love that song!!

Hats of to you Mr Chops, there ain't many who would know that lyric!!

Yes, thanks again to one of the Guitar Hero rosters and an old friend of mine from the BBS days who went by the handle of 'Suicidal Tendencies'.., it's the only song I know by them and I guess the signature one.

Far from mainstream, but that's me now. We do have some overlaps!

We do indeed!! I did like a bit of guitar hero too Bab in the day. We used to have tourneys of it whilst dining like maniacs. Ah them were the dats!!

Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam used to do it too, no?

Well Eddie would want to do something outrageous considering he was charging 200 quid for a ticket when he last visited.

It was pretty egregious the last time he come down to Australia, some tickets were $500! (so about on par with 200 pounds) - but... our "normal" concert prices are around $130 for an International act.

Friend of mine is going to see the reborn Linkin Park, $365 / ticket!
