Say Wot aghhh no way feel your pain bro and was just talking about Windowsupdate with a producer friend of mine as we both have had real strange problems the last few days from what we think is Windows updates.
For your production backups I would recommend Splice and also Megasync bro give me a shout if you want more info they are both a godsend for backing stuff up and also great for collabs 😁
Also looking into some Linux options now there is lots more production software and Wine seems to be able to deal with latency much better I will let you know how I get on and leave you to triple backup everything now its all home safe.

Aha yeah mate, been a rollercoaster here of emotions but think we're out of the woods today! Thanks for the recommendation on Splice - have heard of that but will just try and get the PC set up first for making music again, there's no software or anything on it, pretty bare bones here haha!
