Hello community!
It's been a while here! And it's also been a while for me olaying out at live events since the "COVID rage".
Since after COVID, I'd only done a few performances and gigs. Most of my work has either been in the studio or on DAWs.
The opportunity of playing at weddings again was exciting, even though I had really settled into playing in the studio and it took quite some "cleaning the dusts" to kick back in for live performances.
I hope I'm able to play more often live. I'll surely latch onto opportunities to do so.
Performing live always feels, especially as an instrumentalist. The feel of instrumentation hits different compared to just a live band only.
A live band can't be underestimated anyway. Live bands are the soul of partying in a place like Nigeria where we have "Owambes" (common name for Nigerian weekend parties) every now and then.
But even with a live band, the soronous voice-like sound of a saxophone always feels classic at a wedding asides all the Owambe vibes.
Enjoy this renditions I serenaded this couple with just recently.
I hope you enjoy it!
