Hola amigos || Hello friends

Una vez más compartiendo con ustedes en esta linda y atractiva iniciativa que nos lleva a recordar canciones que marcaron una tendencia tan importante que han dejado un gran legado en la historia de la música. O por lo menos es mi caso. Aquí intentaré junto a ustedes recordar algunas canciones que fueron importantes para mí y sin duda para muchos otros más. Aún intento adaptarme a este #ttt pero creo que voy por buen camino.

^{Once again sharing with you in this nice and attractive initiative that takes us to remember songs that marked such an important trend that have left a great legacy in the history of music. Or at least this is my case. Here I will try together with you to remember some songs that were important for me and no doubt for many others more. I'm still trying to adapt to this #tttt but I think I'm on the right track.}

La semana pasada les compartí algunas voces femeninas que considero legendarias y que son de gran influencia en la música. No sé me vayan a confundir, por supuesto aquellas voces no tienen nada que ver con algunas tendencias actuales como, por ejemplo: con una Karol G o alguna otra de esta cruel generación femenina. Por supuesto hay también voces de esta generación que se escapan de la vulgaridad del circo industrial de la música actual. Voces como la de por ejemplo Adele quien cada vez suena increíble y que no cabe duda que ya es parte de la historia.

^{Last week I shared with you some female voices that I consider legendary and influential in music. Don't get me wrong, of course those voices have nothing to do with some current trends like, for example: with a Karol G or some other of this cruel female generation. Of course there are also voices of this generation that escape from the vulgarity of the industrial circus of today's music. Voices like Adele, for example, who sounds amazing every time and who is undoubtedly already part of history.}

Hoy no hablaremos de algunas reinas de la música pero si vamos a mencionar algunas canciones de los 80s y 90s con un género que en esos años tuvo un ranking mundial muy bueno. Hubo un movimiento masivo por parte de los Jóvenes de la época y entre esos jóvenes estaba yo. El rock me guio hacer hoy el músico que soy y aunque no lo parezca así por mis canciones, prefiero mil veces escuchar este género que cualquier otro. En los años mencionados además de existir un gran movimiento hicieron que a muchos jóvenes les interesara la música. Hoy que te interese cantar como Bad Bunny es una deshonra para la música, tú familia y el mundo. Pero no quiero hablar mucho sobre estos escandalosos géneros actuales más bien quiero recordar junto a ustedes estas tres canciones de bandas que aún después de casi una década siguen siendo una gran fuente de inspiración para la nueva generación del rock.

^{Today we will not talk about some music queens but we are going to mention some songs from the 80s and 90s with a genre that in those years had a very good world ranking. There was a massive movement on the part of the young people of that time and among those young people was me. Rock guided me to become the musician I am today and although it may not seem so because of my songs, I prefer to listen to this genre a thousand times more than any other. In those years, besides the existence of a great movement, it made many young people interested in music. Today that you are interested in singing like Bad Bunny is a disgrace to music, your family and the world. But I don't want to talk too much about these current scandalous genres, rather I want to remember with you these three songs of bands that even after almost a decade are still a great source of inspiration for the new generation of rock.}

Empecemos con uno de los cientos de himnos que hay en el rock y no hablo de, por ejemplo: We Will Rock You – Queen o Satisfaction de los The Rolling Stones. Les comentaré mi experiencia con We're Not Gonna Take it una de las canciones más emblemáticas de la banda Twisted Sister. Esta canción cuando la escuché por primera vez tendría unos 17 años y me sorprendió el ritmo y la actitud del género, del vocalista, la música. Lo curioso es que no sabía nada de inglés, bueno tampoco es que sé mucho ahorita, creo que lo mismo ja ja ja.. No es de reírse, debo estudiarlo, pero en fin, años después por curiosidad busqué la canción con subtítulos y fue ahí que empecé a comprender mucho más la canción pero lo increíble es que lo que lograba percibir de la canción aun sin entender nada de lo que decía el cantante, logró transmitir el mismo mensaje en mí. Y es que cuando escuchaba esa canción no es que era un acto de rebeldía, era más bien como un grito de libertad. Prácticamente en cada verso puede interpretar esa idea, la de repeler aquello que no nos representa. Escuchemos.

^{Let's start with one of the hundreds of rock anthems and I'm not talking about, for example: We Will Rock You - Queen or Satisfaction by The Rolling Stones. I will tell you about my experience with We're Not Gonna Take it, one of the most emblematic songs of the band Twisted Sister. When I heard this song for the first time I was about 17 years old and I was surprised by the rhythm and attitude of the genre, the vocalist, the music. The funny thing is that I didn't know any English, well I don't know much now, I think the same thing ha ha ha.... Not to laugh, I should study it, but anyway, years later out of curiosity I looked for the song with subtitles and it was there that I began to understand the song much more but the amazing thing is that what I managed to perceive of the song even without understanding anything of what the singer said, managed to convey the same message in me. And when I listened to that song it was not an act of rebellion, it was more like a cry for freedom. Practically in each verse you can interpret that idea, the idea of repelling that which does not represent us. Let's listen.}

Un poco más adelante tenemos a una banda que llegó en el momento exacto de la historia con un disco espectacular Nevermind fue una gran bomba que arraso con gran parte del mundo Nirvana nace en aquellos tiempos donde hubo un movimiento que se le denomino Generación X el cual era conformado por un grupo de jóvenes decepcionados por la falta de oportunidades se veían representados por la angustia, la rabia, el dolor. Bandas como Pearl jam o Soundgarden formaban parte de esa generación y ya venían cambiando la cosa mostrando un poco de rebeldía en sus canciones pero no cabe duda que Nirvana elevo todo eso al máximo exponente. Una de sus canciones que desbordaba de rebeldía es Smells Like Teen Spirit. Escuchemos

Cerramos este recorrido con una de las más legendarias y con una historia que si me la pongo a echar no terminaré jamás. Esta canción era un himno en los eventos de rock que se hacían en la ciudad. Aún recuerdo a todos gritar el coro de la canción en conjunto era un solo grito por cientos de personas. Era mucha la adrenalina que se sentía en el evento con tan solo en los primeros segundos. Me imagino que como la mayoría éramos estudiantes sentíamos más de cerca el dolor que expresaba la canción. Tremenda obra de la legendaria banda Pink Floyd

^{We close this tour with one of the most legendary and with a story that if I start to throw it out I will never finish. This song was an anthem in the rock events that took place in the city. I still remember everyone shouting the chorus of the song as a whole, it was a single shout for hundreds of people. It was a lot of adrenaline that was felt at the event with just the first few seconds. I imagine that since most of us were students, we felt the pain that the song expressed more closely. Tremendous work of the legendary band Pink Floyd.}

Wow, yo nací en el 87, parte de las bandas qué escuche yo era un niño y otras no había nacido.

Una excelente selección de bandas de la cual publicastes, me gusta bastante Twister Sister y Dee Snider y Pink Floyd con Roger Water.

En Venezuela hay una banda similar a Nirvana, se llama Anorexia Isan fundada por John Bustamante, se parece bastante a Kurt Cobain y hacen tributos a ellos, tienen su propio material y recien sacaron un álbum en vivo del Kultura Rock en Vivo que se dió en Septiembre en la Plaza de los Museos y donde aparecen con Gustavo Corpa (padre fundador del punk venezolano por #laseguridadnacional) cantando el tema El Cumpleaños original de Seguridad Nacional.

Me gustó bastante la forma como hicistes recomendación, sigue adelante, cuando me desocupe de algunas pautas que tengo pendiente en cubrir como prensa digital especializada en rock, espero sumarme a ésta iniciativa lml
