Una de las etapas que mejor he vivido de la música fue el cierre de los 90 y el principio de la nueva era, el 2000 y como el mundo no se acabó como esperaban, la música y el rock se consolidan aún más abriendo espacios a nuevos escenarios artísticos. Para mí la mejor época, mi adolescencia en pleno alboroto ja ja ja... No olvidaré nunca ese primer disco de Deftones que escuché, o cuando teníamos que ir a casa de un amigo a escuchar el disco de Slipknot pues no todos en casa lo teníamos. Luego si, empezaron a salir los discos piratas y ahí todo empezó a cambiar.
One of the best periods I've experienced in music was the end of the 90s and the beginning of the new era, the 2000s, and since the world didn't end as expected, music and rock became even more established, opening up spaces for new artistic scenes. For me, the best time was my adolescence, when everything was in turmoil, ha ha ha... I'll never forget that first Deftones album I listened to, or when we had to go to a friend's house to listen to the Slipknot album because not all of us had it at home. Then, of course, pirated albums started to appear, and that's when everything began to change.
Me alegra saber que formo parte de una generación que vio de cerca la evaluación música, del vinilo a un disco compacto lo que fue el primer salto de lo analógico a lo digital lo que sin duda revolucionó la industria. De walkman al discman o del famoso MP3 donde teníamos todo aún más compacto y portátil. Que les puedo decir, todas las canciones que he compartido en estos TTT en su mayoría fueron escuchadas en todos esos artefactos que hoy solo son historias de un legado.
I'm glad to know that I'm part of a generation that saw the evolution of music up close, from vinyl to compact discs, which was the first leap from analog to digital, which undoubtedly revolutionized the industry. From walkman to the Discman or the famous MP3, where we had everything even more compact and portable. What can I say? Most of the songs I've shared in these TTTs were listened to on all those devices that are now just stories of a legacy.
Hoy el viaje no es tan lejos de los 90 es más bien una comparación de algunas canciones que salieron en diferentes épocas pero que todavía así, su contundencia ha marcado un antes y después. Bandas como Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains que se dieron a conocer en los 90 y que hoy simplemente son leyendas no están muy lejos de por ejemplo Linkin Park, Coldplay, Korn o Tool que nacen a principios del 2000 y que se unen a la gran lista de leyendas del rock.
Today's journey isn't so far removed from the 90s; it's more of a comparison of some songs that came out at different times but whose impact marked a before and after. Bands like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, and Alice in Chains, which became famous in the 90s and are now simply legends, are not far from Linkin Park, Coldplay, Korn, or Tool, for example, which were formed in the early 2000s and have joined the long list of rock legends.
la música es un símbolo de libertad y eso lo hemos sabido desde hace muchísimos años, es un arte donde muchísimo han podido exponer su arte sea de las diferentes maneras que sea, ha sido la música ese lugar para que muchos puedan desahogarse de una exquisita manera. Hoy en este TTT más que música y mis largas historias, quiero recordar algunas canciones que con solo escuchar ese riff al principio se nos engrincha la piel. No será una lista tan larga porqué sinceramente lo es, pero acá solo he podido escoger 4 de esas tantas y bueno, quizás pueda ayudarme a encontrar esos riffs tan característico de una canción que simboliza un verdadero clásico del rock. ¡Ojo! Recuerden que nuestro viaje en estos TTT se sitúan entre la década de los 90 y 2000. Dicho esto, empecemos subiendo volumen y disfrutando esta exquisita lista de canciones con riffs INOLVIDABLES
Music is a symbol of freedom, and we have known this for many years. It is an art form where many have been able to express their art in different ways. Music has been that place where many can let off steam in an exquisite way. Today, in this TTT, rather than music and my long stories, I want to remember some songs that, just by hearing that riff at the beginning, give us goosebumps. It won't be a very long list because, honestly, there are so many, but here I've only been able to choose four of them. Well, maybe it can help me find those riffs that are so characteristic of a song that symbolizes a true rock classic. Keep in mind that our journey in these TTTs takes place between the 1990s and 2000s. That said, let's turn up the volume and enjoy this exquisite list of songs with UNFORGETTABLE riffs.
