Today marked the start of the first meeting of the Cuban School of Guitar.
This day's event was divided into two parts. The first, a theoretical session, was held at the Convention Center (PALCO), and the second part featured performances by the invited guitar masters.
It was a day full of emotions, as I reunited with old guitarist friends and we shared our experiences and knowledge with the young guitar students from the University of the Arts (ISA), the venue for this second part of the event.
Here I had the honor of performing Rito de los Orishas, by Maestro Leo Brouwer.
I'll try to share my interpretation with you soon. It's a piece over 10 minutes long, but it will be worth it.

I'll finish with the first 20 studies by Leo Brouwer and then upload Rito de los Orishas, before continuing with another repertoire for the concert guitar.

Hoy comenzó el primer encuentro de la escuela cubana de guitarra.
Esta jornada del evento se dividió en dos partes. La primera teórica, con sede en el Palacio de Convenciones (PALCO) y una segunda parte protagonizada por los Maestros guitarristas invitados.
Ha sido una jornada llena de emociones, ya que me reencontré con viejos amigos guitarristas y hemos compartido de nuestras experiencias y conocimientos con los jóvenes estudiantes de guitarra de la universidad de las artes (ISA), sede de esta segunda parte de la jornada.
Aquí tuve el honor de interpretar la obra Rito de los Orishas, del Maestro Leo Brouwer.
Intentaré compartirles mi interpretación próximamente. Es una obra de más de 10 minutos, pero valdrá la pena.
