Hey Hivers, ¿cómo están? espero que muy bien. El día de hoy les traigo mi cover e interpretación de "Sin esperanza" en el piano. Una melodía muy hermosa con un significado único para mí. Y hoy no solo les comparto el vídeo si no que les cuento mi historia con esta canción y su significado para mí.

Hey Hivers, how are you? I hope you're doing great. Today I bring you my cover and interpretation of "Hopeless" on piano. A very beautiful melody with a unique meaning for me. And today I not only share with you the video but I also tell you my story with this song and its meaning for me.
Without further ado, let's get started...
✦¿Qué significa esta canción para mí?✦
Además de lo importante que es para mí por ser la primera canción que logro traspasar, como dije en el vídeo y produndizaré un poco aquí, el significado de la melodía se basa en su belleza y lo hermosa que es pero a la vez el nombre con la que conocí a la canción. Sin esperanza, una melodía melancólica con su nombre tan particular. Pero algo más interesante es que "Sin esperanza" solo es la traducción al español del nombre original de la canción. "Hoffnungslos" es una palabra en Aleman que significa "Sin esperanza". Es el mismo nombre en diferentes idiomas.
La esperanza es lo último que se pierde, dice el dicho. Para mí el nombre tiene estrecha relación con la melodía porque ambas cosas tienen en común el contexto o trasfondo melancólico. Refleja el sentimiento de vacío que es el perder lo último que puedes perder en la vida, la esperanza. Un contexto profundo que a mi forma de pensar le da un significado único a esta canción.
✧Trasladar/Traspasar✧
Pasando a el traspaso o traslado de melodías, quiero profundizar un poco más de este punto. Cómo mencioné en el video, el trasportar una canción es pasarla de una tonalidad a otra, lo cuál es sencillo pero era la primera vez que lo hacía por eso se me complicó el hacerlo. Pero eso no quiso decir que fuera imposible.
Lo primero que hice fue saber cuál era la tonalidad original, y eso lo supe viendo las notas y acordes que tiene la canción. Analizando que acordes tiene la canción me dí cuenta que la melodía empieza con el acorde de Am (La menor) y que terminaba con este mismo acorde. Lo siguiente que hize fue buscar en internet la escala de Am (La menor) y ví que las notas que pertenecen a esa escala son las mismas notas que tiene la canción en todo momento. De allí saqué la conclusíon de que la melodía original está en Am (La menor).
Una vez sabiendo en que tonalidad esta la canción, lo que hice fue buscar la tonalidad a la que quería transportar la canción. Lo que hize fue agarrar las primeras notas de la melodía que empieza con el acorde de Am (La menor) y tocar la misma melodía con distintos acordes hasta que lo probé con el acorde Ebm (Mi bemol menor) y con solo escuchar esa melodía en esa totalidad sabía que allí tenía que trasnpasarlo.
Busqué en internet la escala de Ebm (Mi bemol menor) y fuí anotando el equivalente de notas a la nota de Am (La menor)
✦What does this song mean for me?✦
Besides how important it is for me for being the first song that I manage to get through, as I said in the video and I will deepen a little here, the meaning of the melody is based on its beauty and how beautiful it is but at the same time the name with which I knew the song. Hopeless, a melancholic melody with its particular name. But something more interesting is that "Hopeless" is just the English translation of the original name of the song. "Hoffnungslos" is a German word meaning "Hopeless". It is the same name in different languages.
Hope is the last thing to be lost, as the saying goes. For me the name is closely related to the melody because both have in common the melancholic context or background. It reflects the feeling of emptiness that is losing the last thing you can lose in life, hope. A deep context that to my way of thinking gives a unique meaning to this song.
✧Transfer✧
Moving on to the transfer of melodies, I want to go a little deeper on this point. As I mentioned in the video, transposing a song is moving it from one key to another, which is simple but it was the first time I did it so it was complicated to do it. But that didn't mean it was impossible.
The first thing I did was to find out what the original key was, and I found that out by looking at the notes and chords in the song. Analyzing what chords the song has I realized that the melody starts with the Am chord (A minor) and ended with this same chord. The next thing I did was to look on the internet for the scale of Am (A minor) and I saw that the notes that belong to that scale are the same notes that the song has throughout. From there I concluded that the original melody is in Am (A minor)..
Once I knew what key the song was in, what I did was to find the key I wanted to transpose the song to. What I did was to take the first notes of the melody that starts with the Am chord (A minor) and play the same melody with different chords until I tried it with the Ebm chord (E flat minor) and just by listening to that melody in that totality I knew that I had to transpose it there.
I searched the internet for the Ebm scale (E flat minor) and wrote down the equivalent of notes to the note of Am (A minor).
Lo que hice una vez sabiendo esto es anotar todas las notas de la tonalidad original, buscar su equivalente en la tonalidad a la que lo quería transportar y anotar las notas equivalentes.
What I did once I knew this is to write down all the notes of the original key, look for their equivalent in the key I wanted to transpose it to and write down the equivalent notes.
Este metodo es lento y existen otros metodos más rápidos y fáciles de transportar una canción, pero así fue como yo lo hice. Con paciencia, práctica y esfuerzo logré trasportar la canción.
Esta experiencia para mí es inolviable, aprendí y lo disfruté mucho al igual que lo disfruté al grabar, editar y escribir todo este post. Es increíble para mí pensar en el tiempo y dedicación que tuve para lograr esto, y poder ver el resultado de todo y poder decir que valió la pena.

This method is slow and there are other faster and easier methods to transpose a song, but this is how I did it. With patience, practice and effort I managed to transpose the song.
This experience for me is unforgettable, I learned and enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed recording, editing and writing this post. It is incredible for me to think about the time and dedication I had to achieve this, and to be able to see the result of it all and be able to say that it was worth it.
