El día de hoy les traigo mi cover de la canción "como llora una estrella". Este cover es especial porque es mi primer cover tocando el "tres cubano" un instrumento que desde que lo conocí me encantó, y decidí hacer un cover junto con el piano.
En el vídeo explico mi experiencia pero aquí quiero profundizar un poco más.
Grabación
Para la grabación del vídeo grabé ambos instrumentos por individual y después los junté para hacer un solo vídeo. Pero para que ambas melodías suenen al mismo tiempo y a la misma velocidad usé un metrónomo. Descargué una aplicación de metrónomo en mi teléfono y lo usé mientras practicaba la canción en cada instrumento.
Al momento de grabarlo usé el metrónomo junto con mis audífonos para poder escucharlo mientras grababa con mi teléfono. Una vez grabado los vídeos con el metrónomo lo edité para cambiar las tomas entre el piano y el tres cubano. Siendo honesto, pensé que iba a ser más complicado pero el uso del metrónomo me ayudó bastante al momento de grabar la canción y fue muy sencillo.
"Como llora una estrella" es una canción que yo me aprendí en cada instrumento hace mucho tiempo y ahora, les cuenta mi historia con esta hermosa melodía.

Empecé en este camino de la música con clases del "cuatro venezolano" y allí fue donde por primera vez conocí esa canción. Al principio me aprendí los acordes para acompañar la melodía pero al pasar del tiempo mi maestro me enseñó a tocar la melodía también.
Cómo dije en el vídeo, empecé a tocar el "tres cubano" debido a que mi profesor me dijo que tenía la misma afinación que el "cuatro venezolano". Entonces, como ya me sabía la melodía en el "cuatro", y el "tres" tiene la misma afinación, solo tuve que aprender la técnica con la pua para poder tocar la canción en el "tres cubano".
Y así mismo sabía los acordes y la melodía de la canción, solo fue cuestión de práctica, tiempo y paciencia para aprender "como llora una estrella" en el piano.
Mi nueva idea de covers
Y así como esta canción, hay muchas otras que me entusiasma poder compartirlas con ustedes.
Mi idea es hacer más videos de las canciones que aprendí cuando comencé a tocar con cada instrumento, y hacer covers con más de un solo instrumento. Tal vez, hacer covers con el piano, el cuatro, la guitarra y el tres cubano. Son ideas que tengo en mi cabeza que me gustaría mostrarles y así lo disfruten junto conmigo.
Espero que les guste este experimento que hice y me alegraría mucho hacerlo más seguido para ustedes.

Today I bring you my cover of the song "How a star cries". This cover is special because it is my first cover playing the "Cuban Three" an instrument that since I met it I loved, and I decided to do a cover along with the piano.
In the video I explain my experience but here I want to go a little deeper.
Recording
For the recording of the video I recorded both instruments individually and then put them together to make one video. But to make both tunes sound at the same time and speed I used a metronome. I downloaded a metronome app on my phone and used it while practicing the song on each instrument.
At the time of recording I used the metronome along with my headphones so I could listen to it while recording with my phone. Once I recorded the videos with the metronome I edited it to change the takes between the piano and the Cuban tres. To be honest, I thought it was going to be more complicated but the use of the metronome helped me a lot when recording the song and it was very easy.
"How a star cries" is a song that I learned on every instrument a long time ago and now, it tells my story with this beautiful melody.

I started on this path of music with classes of the "Venezuelan Four" and that's where I first got to know that song. At the beginning I learned the chords to accompany the melody but as time went by my teacher taught me to play the melody as well.
As I said in the video, I started playing the "Cuban Three" because my teacher told me that it had the same tuning as the "Venezuelan Four". So, since I already knew the melody on the "Four", and the "Three" has the same tuning, I just had to learn the technique with the pua to be able to play the song on the "Cuban Three."
And I knew the chords and the melody of the song, it was just a matter of practice, time and patience to learn "how a star cries" on the piano.
My new cover idea
And just like this song, there are many others that I am excited to share with you.
My idea is to make more videos of the songs I learned when I started playing with each instrument, and to do covers with more than one instrument. Maybe, do covers with the piano, cuatro, guitar and Cuban tres. These are ideas that I have in my head that I would like to show you so you can enjoy them with me.
I hope you like this experiment I did and I would be very happy to do it more often for you.

Ha Sido un gusto escuchar tu historia con el instrumento, personalmente disfruto de conocer a cada artista a través de sus escritos y en este caso también lo haz comentado en video.
Me gustó mucho el trabajo que hiciste que ambos instrumentos, siempre es bueno tener esa parte creativa para experimentar con lo que sabemos. Por otro lado te recomendaría que cuando hagas las grabaciones trates de salir tu tocando, eso hace que logremos conectar mejor contigo al ver tus expresiones. Hola Ender, hiciste un excelente trabajo tanto al contar tu historia como al tocar ambos instrumentos.

Es grato poder escuchar tu experiencia de aprendizaje con el tres cubano, nunca e tenido la oportunidad de tocar uno, sin embargo disfruto mucho de su sonoridad. Definitivamente tiene una personalidad increible, y su afinación como tu dices se asemeja a la de Cuatro Venezolano. Te felicito por acomplar el piano y el tres, haberlo hecho con el metronomo le brinda mayor precisión.
