Good morning HIVE!
As I said in the introduction post I am a member and co-founder of a Folk-Rock band named Lennon Kelly. Today I will tell you our story in a short summary.
The band was founded in 2010, without great pretensions but just for the sake of playing together. None of us studied music in the canonical way, but all of us have always cultivated it with passion.
The main formation sees seven members who have a bond with each other, there are three cousins who represent the folk vein and play respectively drums, accordion and violin. My brother and I are the most musically open-minded (we have listened to a lot of them), my musical influence comes from his impressive library and he can be considered a living encyclopedia of music. I play bass guitar, he sings, plays lead guitar, banjo and mandolin. The sixth component is a common childhood friend that unites us and the three folk cousins, and has been a crossroads between our lives, he's a singer and acoustic guitarist, with a punkrock streak and Italian poetic vein. Both he and my brother are authors of the lyrics. The seventh element was a real rocker, on the wave of prog music and more classical rock'n roll, a stage bomb that retired from the scene last year giving way to another friend who was our rodie and replacement guitarist, has always been an integral part of the band, now has his place as owner.

After 10 years we have a series of hundreds concerts played, from the southernmost tip of Italy to the port of Hamburg on the North Sea.
