I did it, wow! this was a huge challenge in vocal technique for me and although it is a song that does not have very high pitches, it does have some arrangements that were very difficult to get right, I had never suffered so much when learning a song, but without a doubt this song has helped me to better prepare myself as a professional singer.
After interpreting this complex and beautiful piece called "De Antes" I noticed that the vocal arrangements of Willie Rodriguez in the band "Cultura Profética" have many notes that are alterations, that is to say... Sharps and Flats.... Something that was very difficult for me to do continuously in the same song, going from medium high tones to lower flats smoothly was chaos for my vocal control, I thought I would never get it and to fit the pitch perfectly without going out of the original scales in this song was an uphill climb in which I could barely make it up and reach the finish line, it turns out that this composer makes very abrupt changes in terms of intervals, but in such a subtle way in the voice that sometimes they go unnoticed, making the song seem very easy to sing.... But just at the moment you try it is when you realize that something is wrong haha.

I believe that hive music looks for the best possible quality of all the artists that we make life within this creative honeycomb, with the purpose of always having content that is well seen by all, provide well-deserved rewards to all artists and make the consumer experience something more enjoyable, that is why I also decided to give a little more than what I usually do, I thought "I must choose a song that represents one of my best musical versions" I'm really quite pleased with the organization that has had this festival and to have people who are quite dedicated to hive as part of the jury, as @eugelys , @edwardstobia, @ilazramusic and with the support of other neighboring communities as @aliento and the great support of @theycallmedan who is co-founder of @threesepeak.
The festival has had a good reach and that is very motivating, because all communities are an essential part of hive and have a great importance, the mutual support between all is being noticed in a very nice way, in one way or another we are connected in this wonderful ecosystem of our hive making life in each of our niches, I want to highlight and give great credit to @la-colmena who has had a key role in supporting all Spanish-speaking artists in the music community always, special thanks to @ylich who has an artistically purified eye to give his support to all those artists who have time and the new ones too, I wish with all my heart that all continue to grow together and that movements like this always arise, as well as #hiveopenmic has a lot of life, I have noticed that this festival is loaded with the best energy and has left me surprised with the interaction in the telegram group.

Si les digo las veces que intente cantar esta canción correctamente sin desafinarme no me creerían, he perdido la cuenta de los intentos fallidos que tuve mientras practicaba las melodías y los arreglos de la voz, pero finalmente adivinen… Lo he conseguido, ¡woow! esto sí que fue un reto gigante en la técnica vocal para mí y aunque es una canción que no tiene tonalidades muy agudas, sí que tiene unos arreglos que fueron muy difícil de acertar, nunca había sufrido tanto al aprenderme una canción, pero sin duda alguna esta canción me ha ayudado a prepararme mejor como un cantante profesional.
Después de interpretar esta compleja y hermosa pieza llamada “De Antes” he podido notar que los arreglos vocales de Willie Rodriguez en la banda “Cultura Profética” cuentan con muchas notas que son alteraciones, es decir… Sostenidos y Bemoles… Cosa que me resulto muy difícil de realizar de manera continua en una misma canción, pasar de tonos medianamente agudos a tonos bemoles más graves con suavidad era el caos de mi control vocal, pensé que nunca lo conseguiría y encajar la afinación perfectamente sin salirme de las escalas originales en esta canción fue una subida cuesta arriba en la que por muy poco pude lograr subir y llegar a la meta, resulta que este compositor realiza cambios muy bruscos en cuanto a los intervalos, pero de una manera tan sutil en la voz que a veces pasan desapercibidos, haciendo parecer a la canción muy fácil de cantar… Pero justo en el momento en que lo intentas es cuando te das cuenta que algo no va bien jaja.
Pero después de la tormenta viene la calma y puedo decirles como mucha alegría que el gozo que siento ahora, al poder interpretar esta canción sin equivocación es gigantesco, “Cultura Profética” es una banda que sin duda ha sabido fusionar el sonido relajante del reggae con tonalidades que van de la mano con la suavidad, la poesía y la sensualidad, su vocalista destaca junto con los arreglos armónicos de la banda, el bajo, la guitarra, el piano y la percusión hacen una obra de arte maestra junto a la voz y ni hablar de las letras que transmiten sentimientos mágicos, hoy puedo decirles con base que he disfrutado cien por ciento el resultado final de este cover, el hecho de poder ejecutar el ritmo del reggae al mismo tiempo que cantaba melodías que nunca había explorado resulto una experiencia inigualable y si no fuese por este festival de hive music, de verdad que no me hubiese atrevido a enfrentar este reto.
Creo que hive music busca la mejor calidad posible de todos los artistas que hacemos vida dentro de este panal creativo, con la finalidad de siempre tener contenido que sea bien visto por todos, brindar recompensas bien merecidas a todos los artistas y hacer de la experiencia del consumidor algo más placentero, es por ello que también decidí dar un poco más de lo que habitualmente hago, pensé “Debo elegir una canción que represente una de mis mejores versiones musicales” de verdad estoy bastante complacido con la organización que ha tenido este festival y de contar con personas que son bastantes dedicadas a hive como parte del jurado, como @eugelys , @edwardstobia, @ilazramusic y con el apoyo de otras comunidades vecinas como @aliento y el gran apoyo de @theycallmedan quien es cofundador de @threesepeak.
El festival ha tenido un buen alcance y eso es muy motivador, porque todas las comunidades forman parte esencial de hive y tienen una gran importancia, el apoyo mutuo entre todos se está haciendo notar de una manera muy bonita, de una u otra forma estamos conectados en este maravilloso ecosistema de nuestra colmena haciendo vida en cada uno de nuestros nichos, quiero resaltar y darle un gran merito a @la-colmena quien ha tenido un papel fundamental al apoyar a todos los artistas de habla hispana en la comunidad de music siempre, agradecimiento especial a @ylich que tiene un ojo artísticamente purificado para dar su apoyo a todos esos artistas que tienen tiempo y a los nuevos también, deseo de todo corazón que todos sigan creciendo juntamente y que siempre surjan movimientos como esta, así como #hiveopenmic tiene muchísima vida, he notado que este festival está cargado de la mejor energía y me ha dejado sorprendido con la interacción en el grupo de telegram.
Para terminar les dejo mis mejores deseo y les aclaro que la semana pasada no pude participar por falta de tiempo, las clases que imparto de música me han consumido bastantes horas, pero he hecho un reajuste en los horarios y he dejado un poco de tiempo libre para mi, gracias a todos los que hacen este festival posible, se que no es fácil dedicar tanto tiempo a la selección de contenido, verificación, revisión y curación de este festival, felicitaciones por la dedicación tan sincera que ofrecen a través de su esfuerzo diario, sin mas que decir me despido, hasta un próximo post!
