Today I was reminiscing about those family gatherings where at a certain time we couldn't take it anymore and we ended up sleeping on a piece of furniture or in a room with the other kids that were there (not to say that in two chairs that were joined to form a bed), while our parents, uncles and aunts and uncles' friends continued enjoying the party's bochinche haha. I once read that on Spotify there was a playlist called "Junta dos sillas y acuesta el niño" that collected a lot of songs of this type, here I share with you my 5 favorite songs of these little parties.

Esta canción es ICÓNICA aunque dejo admitir que no tenía idea de lo que decía su letra y mucho menos como se llamaba, solo decía 'madejada, madejada yo sin Luis no valgo nada" JAJAJAJAJAJA no me pregunten de donde yo saqué la idea de que así decía la letra, desde pequeña me gustaba mucho esta canción y siempre buscaba con quien "bailarla" a pesar de que en el momento (y en la actualidad tampoco) sabía bailar, yo levantaba mis piesitos y me dejaba llevar por todo el ritmo de esta movida canción mientras los mayores bromeaban sobre la niña que estaba en media pista de baile con el perrito de la casa, porque sí, como nadie quería bailar conmigo, yo simplemente elegía como pareja a la mascota de mi abuela.
This song is ICONIC although I must admit that I had no idea what the lyrics said, much less what it was called, it just said 'madejada, madejada yo sin Luis no valgo nada", don't ask me where I got the idea that this is what the lyrics said, since I was a child I loved this song and I was always looking for someone to "dance" to it, even though at the time (and nowadays I don't know how to dance either), I would put my little feet up and let myself be carried away by all the rhythm of this moving song while the grown-ups joked about the little girl who was in the middle of the dance floor with the little dog of the house, because yes, as nobody wanted to dance with me, I simply chose my grandmother's pet as a partner.

Era imposible que no pusieran esta canción en CUALQUIER evento, no se porque pero creo que no hay ni una reunión donde no la pusieran, de solo oírla puedo sentir el olor de la parrilla en mi nariz y las risas de la gente en el fondo, unas vibras demasiado buenas me da esta canción.
One of my all time favorites, too romantic and with good rhythm, my best memories with it is definitely when I see my mom dancing to it! She dances it too good, she even makes me believe that I can dance it like that hahahaha, I love to play it to clean or when I'm with my cousins to remember.

Esta canción les juro que me arrastra a cuando tenía 5 años y me despertaba de la nada en el mueble y lo primero que veía era a mis tías cantando y bailando con una cerveza en la mano jajaja, debo decir que las canciones de este grupo son oro puro, muchas de sus canciones son súper conocidas y la mayoría de solo escucharlas te dan ganas de irte de fiesta jaja.
I swear this song takes me back to when I was 5 years old and I woke up out of nowhere on the furniture and the first thing I saw was my aunts singing and dancing with a beer in hand hahaha, I must say that the songs of this group are pure gold, many of their songs are super well known and most of them just listening to them makes you want to party haha.

De mis favoritas por siempre, demasiado romántica y con bien ritmo, mis mejores recuerdos con ella definitivamente es cuando veo a mi mamá bailarla! La baila demasiado bueno, hasta me hace creer que yo puedo bailarla así jajajaja, me encanta ponerla para limpiar o cuando estoy reunida con mis primos para recordar.

No se si les pasa, pero en mi familia está la tradición de que siempre hay un momento cuando ya las cervezas o el alcohol comienza a hacer efecto y es que empiezan a cantar, no a gritos escandalosos pero si con bastante sentimiento y esta es una de las canciones que SIEMPRE nos gustaba/gusta poner! La favorita de varias de mis tías y obvio que en cierto punto, también la mía.
I don't know if it happens to you, but in my family there is a tradition that there is always a moment when the beers or alcohol starts to take effect and they start singing, not loudly but with a lot of feeling and this is one of the songs that we ALWAYS liked/love to play! A favorite of several of my aunts and obviously at a certain point, mine too.
I won't say that I'm here to stay because I don't know what will happen, but I will do my best to continue being part of this community.
