Looking back through some of the tunes from the Travel Diaries EP now and this is the 2nd one from that bunch of tunes called Always Looking Over You.
This whole EP always takes me back to my travel adventure in 2019 and I'm getting itchy feet again to head back out and see the world.
However, ALOY is in its own style of dnb that I've called "Cinematic" as a happy go lucky tune that builds from the start with a hint of fantasy vibes throughout.
Fitting that this tune always takes me back to New Zealand when I visited the Hobbiton studio where they filmed Lord of the Rings and Hobbiton! In fact, the whole time I was out in NZ, particularly when travelling on my own, was a magical experience.
For now though, the memories will live on and this is a very nice reminder of that trip - a tribute to my Nana who I felt was always looking over me and keeping me safe out there.
