Hola de nuevo! Hoy les traigo un post súper especial en el cual les hablaré sobre un concierto que tuve el 30 de septiembre con mis muy queridos compañeros de @multiversomusic. Este fue mi primer concierto en vivo después de que apareciera el coronavirus en el mundo, poco a poco todos nos hemos tenido que adaptar a este nuevo estilo de vida, pero eso no ha impedido que hagamos música aunque sea en nuestras casas o en grupo, pero con las medidas de bioseguridad. Quisiera contar la importancia que tuvo este concierto para mí luego de días turbulentos, comencemos!
Hello again! Today I come with a super special post in which I will tell you about a concert I had on September 30 with my very dear colleagues from @multiversomusic. This was my first live concert after the coronavirus appeared in the world, little by little we have all had to adapt to this new lifestyle, but that has not prevented us from making music even in our homes or in groups, but with biosecurity measures. I would like to tell the importance that this concert had for me after turbulent days, let's go!
He tenidos semanas y quizás meses bastante turbulentos diría yo, abandoné algo que me presionaba muchísimo durante muchos años, me estaba sintiendo estresada por diversas situaciones personales e incluso casi dejo el violín luego de "fracasar" por así decirlo en algo que pensé que lograría, la verdad no fueron días bonitos para mí, sin embargo siempre había algo que me animaba y eso era hacer música con el Ensamble Multiverso, lo cual siempre me hacía feliz no solo por ser mis amigos, sino que la música que hacemos realmente me llena.
I have had quite turbulent weeks and maybe months I would say, I gave up something that was pushing me a lot for many years, I was feeling stressed by several personal situations and even almost quit the violin after "failing" so to speak in something I thought I would achieve, the truth was not nice days for me, however there was always something that encouraged me and that was making music with the Multiverse Ensemble, which always made me happy not only for being my friends, but the music we make really fills me up.
Nos pautaron un concierto, desde julio teníamos el lugar pero no la fecha estipulada, aún así seguíamos ensayando nuestra música y arreglos para dar un buen show, luego de unas semanas nos dieron fecha, el 30 de septiembre nos presentaríamos en el Centro Comercial San Ignacio. Los ensayos eran divertidos y a la vez trabajábamos muchísimo los detalles que no salían bien para que el día del concierto todo saliera pulcro. Sin embargo yo estaba pasando por unos momentos algo estresantes en mi vida, realmente lo único que me hacía feliz era reunirme con los chicos y ensayar, además de que de verdad ellos me motivaban a seguir con el violín porque de verdad sentía que no podía más.
We were scheduled for a concert, since July we had the place but not the stipulated date, we were still rehearsing our music and arrangements to give a good show, after a few weeks we were given a date, on September 30 we would perform at the Centro Comercial San Ignacio. The rehearsals were fun and at the same time we worked a lot on the details that were not going well so that the day of the concert everything would be perfect. However I was going through some stressful moments in my life, really the only thing that made me happy was to meet with the guys and rehearse, plus they really motivated me to continue with the violin because I really felt that I could not go on.
Al llegar el día del concierto estaba bastante emocionada, tenía mucho tiempo sin tocar en vivo luego de la pandemia y estar ahí me hacía muy feliz. No obstante mi felicidad llegaría al máximo al momento de tocar,la conexión que había entre todos nosotros era increíble ya que se sentía una sinergia increíble, no lo puedo describir. Había algo de viento y hasta llovió, de hecho no pudimos culminar el concierto porque comenzó a llover muy fuerte antes de tocar las últimas tres canciones, sin embargo al público que estuvo ahí les fascinó lo que hacíamos, de hecho un montón de personas luego de un rato se nos acercaba a preguntarnos quienes éramos y muchas personas movían los pies y cabeza al ritmo de nuestra música, solo puedo decir que ese momento me hizo recordar por qué hago música y es para eso, para hacer feliz a los demás y eso me llena muchísimo.
When the day of the concert arrived I was very excited, I had a long time without playing live after the pandemic and being there made me very happy. However my happiness would reach its peak the moment we played, the connection between all of us was incredible because we felt an incredible synergy, I can't describe it. There was some wind and it even rained, in fact we could not finish the concert because it started to rain very hard before playing the last three songs, however the audience that was there was fascinated by what we were doing, in fact a lot of people after a while approached us to ask us who we were and many people moved their feet and head to the rhythm of our music, I can only say that that moment made me remember why I make music and that is why I make music and that is to make others happy and that fills me a lot.
No hay nada más bonito que hacer lo que te apasiona junto a personas tan increíbles. Considero que la música es capaz de despertar cosas muy bonitas en todos nosotros, nos hace bailar, cantar y ser nosotros mismos en su manera más pura, por lo que de verdad considero que tocar el violín y hacer feliz a los demás mediante la música es algo que de verdad me apasiona. Realmente le agradezco a la música por acercarme a gente tan maravillosa, y también les doy las gracias a mis amigos de @multiversomusic por todo el apoyo que me han dado, son grandes músicos, colegas y sobre todo, amigos.
There is nothing more beautiful than doing what you are passionate about with such incredible people. I believe that music is capable of awakening beautiful things in all of us, it makes us dance, sing and be ourselves in its purest form, so I truly believe that playing the violin and making others happy through music is something that I am really passionate about. I really thank music for bringing me closer to such wonderful people, and I also thank my friends from @multiversomusic for all the support they have given me, they are great musicians, colleagues and above all, friends.
