Many thanks for my brother @alexvan who is again flying to New York jsut now being the only one to use this tag - was a trial - glad it got picked up by onw. I realized it is n ot easy to create and attwct people for things. During Steemit days it was easier - i even recall talks how we can do live DJ events on the chain with a great guy into sounds, former witness - who guesses his name?
Rockbest tag was just a question like Rockclassics
While I know not everyone has time or wants to contribute to everything that is only of interest of us old farts I would have expected a bit more angagement - maybe a generation issue - anyways - still some will follow and see/contribute to the #rockbest tag if they like - only know @steevc @slobberchops @detlev @seckorama @w74 @twinner and even our Tecnno producer @andyjaypowell that like it and even did contribute / comment - do we have more like @meesterboom? That was the annoucement some weeks ago:

You can also use #RockClassics which I launched ages ago - just my ego - I anna hear grest rock I might have missed.

Loved them, not the hard rock stuff I usually listend to, a bit progressive rock soem migth see - if interested ht me and i give you some links.
American band but they sound to me more British - ok guys i might make this as a #rockclassics post - there is more than one song.
About The Cars
The Cars were founded 1976 in Boston and came from the new wave rock scene of the late 70ies. The two key members have been Ric Ocasek and Benjamin Orr who wrote most of the songs and also acted as lead singer(s). The band managed the integration of synthesizer sounds into guitar rock music. Not sure whoch song to me by The Cars is #rockbest so three options for you to decide.

Bei den Cars empfehle ich eigentlich immer die beiden Singles aus dem Debut-Album von 1978:
"Just What I Needed"...
...und "Best Friend's Girl"

I liked The Cars. They were a real 80s band (if formed earlier) with their own sound. I think some of the guys have died. I've tried playing some of their songs at the pub.
I loved them - probably sxome died, they started in the 70ies - i also feel diing soon
Isn't Stairway to Heaven acknowledged as the best Rock song?
I do like The Cars but to be honest I prefer Just What I Needed as their best tune...
Stairway to Heaven is a great song - i did not mean The Cars did the best one, but to me they did some great songs - wanted to outline only that the tag #rockbest is not flying :-)
My dad loves rock music, sometimes I enjoy listening to it a little.
