After posting some different posts about ABBA and cheking out the Sublime Bassplayer Rutger Gunnarsson I thoughtit was time to try and check out some ABBA basslines. As already mentioned they are harder as the seem, there are some really funky disco grooves. I am still working and learning on them but this is my first version of 'Gimme Gimme Gimme'.A very catchy bassline with a lot of octave plucking. Listening to my version it's still a bit stacato, it can be groovier ;)Well for a first try not to bad I think. What do you think ? :)
ps. I am now officially member of the one and only ABBA Fanclub ;)

That's awesome. I didn't realize they had a fan club! I guess it makes sense, they are pretty timeless!
The funny thing is that the fan club was founded after ABBA stopped :) And they have members from all over the world .
That is pretty funny. I guess good music is universal right?
