As you can easily see from the list of artists who have already performed on the Matinée stage, I usually focus on the younger generation that is now following the old masters. Since I'm trying to get more people who are sceptical about jazz listening to, a careful mix is needed. Oh, please I didn't mean it that way. I listen to some vocalists. It's just that I seem to prefer the instrumentalists. It's good to listen to new music--broaden my horizons.
