I have the pleasure of performing with my trumpet «Crazy For You», a pop ballad with torch-style influences composed by John Bettis and Jon Lind, and performed by Madonna for the soundtrack of the movie Vision Quest (1985). The lyrics speak of an intense attraction, a romantic desire, and the powerful connection that exists between two people. I love 80s Madonna; she brings back such fond memories of the music I listened to as a child. Nowadays people are surprised by the bizarre and the eccentricity of some musicians, but at that time, there were also such artists. Without a doubt, the Material Girl was one of them. The melody is soft, flowing, and sentimental. The rhythm is within a 4/4 time signature, and the tempo is moderate. The sheet music I perform is in G major.

Tengo el agrado de interpretar con mi trompeta «Crazy For You», una balada pop con influencias de estilo torch compuesta por John Bettis y Jon Lind, e interpretada por Madonna para la banda sonora de la película Vision Quest (1985). La letra habla de una atracción intensa, un deseo romántico y la poderosa conexión que existe entre dos personas. Me encanta la Madonna de los 80, me trae tan gratos recuerdos de la música que escuchaba cuando era niño. Hoy día la gente se sorprende de lo bizarro, y lo excéntrico de algunos músicos, pero en esa época también los había. Sin duda la chica material, era una de ellas. La melodía es suave, fluida y sentimental. El ritmo está dentro de una cifra indicadora de compas de 4/4 y el tempo es moderado. La partitura que interpreto se encuentra en G mayor.

In some places, water is difficult to access, and many people travel hundreds of kilometers to get it. When we do not have it, that is when we value it the most. I love being a musical content creator. The fact that it is not rewarded does not mean it lacks value. The production, effort, dedication, and the audience's perspective are also factors that influence its relevance. To God, we are of immense value, including our decisions. ¿Qué es lo que hace que las cosas tengan valor? Hace poco se me daño mi teléfono y en este mundo interconectado se ha convertido en una necesidad. El tiempo sin teléfono también me ha hecho meditar sobre el tiempo que uno pierde en estos valiosos dispositivos. La escasez hace que las cosas ganen valor. En algunos lugares el agua es de difícil acceso y muchas personas recorren ciento de kilómetros para conseguirla. Cuando no la tenemos, es cuando mas la valoramos. Me encanta ser un creador de contenido musical. El hecho de que no sea recompensado no quiere decir que carezca de valor. La producción, el esfuerzo, la dedicación y la perspectiva de la audiencia también son factores que inciden en su relevancia. Para Dios somos de inmenso valor e incluso nuestras decisiones. En la vida hacemos sacrificios y con el tiempo nos damos cuenta de que estos valen la pena. Espero disfruten de mi interpretación. Gracias.
