It's been a long time since I decorated a Christmas tree; I've become a sort of Grinch for a few years in the way that I don't see holiday seasons the same as I did a few good years ago. I'm like... All days of the year are the same. Probably if I had kids, I'd be a bit different in this regard.
But anyway...
The Christmas lights decorations are on; yesterday evening, they went on, and I had to go there and shoot a few pics of 'em...
I went with a couple of friends who have kids, and I have to say that the kids loved the decorations a lot. The boy of a friend of mine has been kind enough to allow me to snap a few photos of him and the decorations.
He really got close to almost every Christmas figurine that was sitting there, light on. He climbed on some of them, and I was amazed at how responsive he was to me in guiding him on how to pose for the pics.
His name is Albert, and he's almost three years old. I've known him since he was born, and although he now lives with his parents 350 kms away from our town, we get to see each other a few times a year.
I see that in Germany and Austria, the folks living there are enjoying quite some snow, but all we've got here is nothing more than the damn "seasonal rain." I so wished we had some snow too...
Maybe by the end of the year, we will have some; who knows... Meanwhile, all we've got is the damn Christmas lights 😄. Anyway, that's about it from my side for now; I hope you will like my photos here and that you are enjoying a great weekend.

The Christmas decoration lights look so beautiful, with several decorations, especially those decorated on the box, it looks very beautiful and what attracts me is your friend's son, he looks so cute and approaches every lamp that is there.
True. Children are so great. Sometimes we realize we still got a lot to learn from them no matter the age we are atm.
