      I did. For a long time. I've been in Thailand 17 years+ now. Solo mom with my just 16 yr old Thai daughter. It's been a while since anyone called me ***mate****. LOL. I speak Thai more than English now, most days. 🤣

        In a 100 year old traditional Thai teak house, in a small village called Baan Rim Tai in Mae Rim, on the outskirts of Chiang Mai.

        A pleasant 1 hr 50 min direct flight to DaNang. 😊

          Nice. It is a beautiful part of the world. I have not been up to the north of Thailand since the late 90's.
