RE: Unconventional Art

These works brought back memories of when I was studying graphic design. There was a technique I learned and developed where things seemed to pop out of the frames, and this art exhibition has a lot of that, as if the paintings somehow come to life. Yes, it's very unconventional, and I love it, although I'm not sure I would own one of these pieces.

My favourite is the one about self-reflection with the clock. At one point, I thought there was a mirror in the head and that the fire extinguisher was in front of the painting and was being reflected. Very interesting!

Self reflection is a very complex one in my opinion and after reading your comment I had a cloer look at it and you're right. There's a mirror there and now I remember taking the photo from the side, to avoid capturing my own self. 🫣😬 Well, this is what two years does with your memory, you forget 🤪😂

But other eyes can help a memory. The fire extinguisher was too real to be a painting, but since coincidences do not exist, what if the extinguisher was there to erase negative thoughts?
