Жаль, что я редко в нём бываю. Это фотографии 2019 года. Никто тогда не мог предположить нынешний сюрреализм с масками, вакцинами и ограничениями свободы...
The city is indented by numerous bays. Some of them cut quite deep into the land. At the same time, the land itself is a rocky hills. Different streets are at different levels above the sea. Very often the path from one street to another runs through the stairs.
Город изрезан многочисленными бухтами. Некоторые довольно глубоко врезаются в сушу. При этом сама суша представляет собой скалистые сопки. Разные улицы находятся на разном уровне над морем. Очень часто путь с одной улицы на другую пролегает через ступени лестниц.
Here you can spend hours walking along the embankments and admiring the views of the Black Sea. Many vacationers do just that. The sea can be enjoyed endlessly.
Здесь можно часами гулять по набережным и любоваться видами Чёрного моря. Многие отдыхающие именно так и делают. Морем можно наслаждаться бесконечно.

In the last picture you see the symbol of Sevastopol. This is a monument to the sunken ships. They were specially flooded at the entrance to the bay, so that the enemy could not get into it from the sea.
На последнем снимке вы видите символ Севастополя. Это памятник затопленным кораблям. Их специально затопили на входе в бухту, что бы враг не смог в неё попасть с моря.

Я не голубятник, может и не такая уж редкая, но кроме как там я таких видел только на Невском проспекте в Питере. Там для пофотографироваться, впрочем, как и тут ))

Вообще-то на ветках голуби какой-то редкой породы, очень красиво сидели на ветках кипариса)
Если бы не лёгкий бриз с моря...там действительно пекло не по детски, но после Питера приятно.

You are relly good in processing your photos , I have to say. Like the market images, these too take me back in time and it is nice to see how Black Sea looks like on the other side :) We have streets in Varna (city also on the coast of Black Sea) which are named Sevastopol, I see why now.
I think that the Black Sea coast in Bulgaria is very beautiful. There was a time when Bulgaria and the USSR were very friendly. We have a lot of common history.

There are still beautiful coasts in Bulgaria, despite all the "investors" who are trying to sell every beautiful place for someones nice view.
Bulgarians, i think, always loved Russia....at least most of them, and there will be always the love of Russia here...as you said - we have common history.
Me for sure, I am part Russian, my mom was from Orenburg, Bashkiria, I have so many amazing memories from there and my babushka. I am very grateful for my heritage ❤️
