What you see in the first photo, I saw at the end of a walk along this street. This is Pisarev Street and we walked along it from New Holland. For a change, I decided to show you this walk in reverse order. So let's go.
The red brick building is the Cathedral of St. John. It is located on Decembrists Street. This is an active church, but we did not go there.
There are different houses on Pisarev Street. Some of them are very simple, but there are also very interesting ones.
The street is narrow and the building is tall. I had to take a couple of shots to get a panorama later.
"Decoration Shop and Hall. 1900" is written at the top of the façade of this building.
This is the hall of the directorate of the imperial theaters .. I don’t know what is there now.
Profitable houses Evmentiev. Very interesting double symmetrical building. Here I also had to shoot a vertical panorama.
And this is Alekseevsky Garden with a fountain.
Here we spent quite a lot of time.
Palace of Grand Duke Alexei Alexandrovich. This garden has a lot of sun and little wind. And only here we found trees that had already spread their leaves.
It was very pleasant to sit in the sun by the fountain and admire this cozy garden, greenery and a beautiful palace.
In fact, there was not much greenery at all, but it was all the more valuable for our eyes. By the way, I think that in the summer from this point (last photo) you will not see the palace, it will be hidden by dense greenery.
