These are some amazing shots. I love lavender in general but there is something special about seeing the fields of rows and rows of those mature plants. That dance between purple and blue makes for some gorgeous shots. Great job sharing the beauty with us! I planted a few Lavender plants here in Sweden a couple of years ago and was just admiring the beauty of the flowers yesterday. So, i was happy to see your post.

Yes, they did. I think we have some Spanish Lavender and French Lavender. There are a couple that have been here for many years and then i planted a whole bunch more when i came. The Winter is very harsh here, even in the South of Sweden, as it is still 'the north' like you mention.
Not all of the ones i planted made it. But they were also pretty young when i bought them. So, the strong ones survived and have been thriving for a couple of years now. They aren't as well groomed and shaped as the ones in your shots... but someday when i have some land i will make me some of those beautiful globes!
