Today I was playing around with some photo editing software called Gimp
Hallway Edit
One of the things that's really interesting about a well-captured photo is the lack of need to do any modifications to it for the image to be unique!
That is certainly the case, in my opinion, with this photo my wife took. She has been spending more time trying to get better at photography so she can start to do it as a profession so we have been bringing our camera to more places for her to get some exposure (pun intended :D) to using the DSLR versus her phone.
We were on vacation and visited an interesting place in New Hampshire and they had this awesome looking basement area! I'm surprised and glad that it was open to the public but this was a really cool dark hallway with an open room at the end. You start in the hallway you can see at the end of the picture, walk down this stone passageway into the area and come to the room. The room is pretty dark itself so it allowed for quite an interesting picture to be captured! I think I would like to turn this one into an NFT or something but more on that later.
One of the other things I have personally been trying to do is play around with editing software. With our phones and iPads we can use Adobe Lightroom for free but you can't install it on your laptop without incurring a subscription fee. A bit annoying but that's what happens with big companies.
Thankfully I looked up and got some good recommendations for another software called GIMP. I don't remember what it stands for but it's an open-source photo editing software itself so I figured I would try it out. It's taking a little bit to learn the in's and out's of it but it's been pretty good overall!
I have my first edited photo here. I wanted to try the original image but flipped to monochrome instead of color. I kind of like how it turned out!
What do you think? Did the picture come out as interesting as I think it did or am I full of shit? hahah

I bet the depth of field, concise colour palate and spooky contrast of the original image makes it so enjoyable to make even better.
Have you created a Presearch node with your stake yet? I have one up on a Raspberry PI earning $Pre for processing the searches. Still in testnet and early days but fun to help the blockchain scale and evolve for a little reward.

The unique blend of the elements as you say certainly contribute to the allure of the picture indeed! The photo almost slipped past me when we were pulling photos off the card to save lol
