Got to play with sharp objects again Thursday evening, or rather Sharp Objects 502's Bridge Brigade was back at it again, out on the bridges over I-64 with a message for the evening commute.

Thursday's brigade message was "War Costs Lives + Billions," which elicited quite a response from passing traffic. Most was supportive, but the few that weren't reacted equally strongly. Thought one dude was going to climb out his window to yell at us as he passed beneath the bridge.

Even the haters are part of the fun, there's just something about watching folks in luxury vehicles lose their shit, screaming and yelling and flipping the bird, that is quite reaffirming. If you're this mad about us, we're probably doing something right.

Wars cost lives and billions, does anyone seriously disagree with that? The War No One Asked For cost the US 11 billion USD in the first week alone, along with over a thousand lives brought to a violent and untimely end. Still not sure what about that makes people angrier at the messengers than the instigators...

Over all though, the response has been overwhelmingly positive, but then that's hardly surprising. The dotard's war that is simultaneously already won, almost won, in need of help from allies to be won, and in no need of any help from allies to be won, all to destroy a nuclear program that was 'completely destroyed' in the war last year, is as unpopular as it is unasked for.

While the Bridge Brigade actions are unlikely to stop the war on their own, they play an important role nevertheless.

In this age of weapons of mass distraction, with algorithms carefully cultured to foster apathy and isolation, the Brigade is not only a protest but also a reminder that there are plenty of others out there that are just a fed up with this bullshit.

As these Epstein distractions continue to get more and more extreme, the need for that will only grow.

With how simple and easy these actions are, it's honestly a bit surprising that we don't see a lot more of them. One of the few channels of communication that's not be coopted by the corporations to sell us stuff we don't need, and it's barely being used.

Until there's no regime to rage against, the Bridge Brigade will be out here.
