Ok, enough of the cat photos. Let’s get back to Kananaskis. Back to some fall photos captured last September. This was turning out to be a splendid hike, just look at these beautiful Larch trees lining the valley. First time for me hiking Ptarmigan cirque, and so far it was not a disappointment. I can see why it is such a popular destination! Located about 90 minutes from Calgary, easily accessible via highway #40. If you ever find yourself in this neck of the woods, do drop on by. You won't regret it. Trust me!

@daveks He is back to posting about hiking, it will always be very good, as it motivates people who are sedentary. Your images esrimulan to leave the seats and walk through the beautiful scenery that you present, which are very beautiful. Canada has beautiful places. I would love to do yoga in these landscapes. I invite you to practice the yoga posture of my today's post called the frog with the torso stretched backwards, in such beautiful places. I wish you success.

Yes, back to nature. Thanks for the visit.

Being in a natural environment is very comforting, I have the beach very close to the house and I do yoga there frequently. Greetings friend @daveks . All the best.

Amazing place along with the amazing captures, awesome my friend. Hopefully one day but for now I will always think of it and view them thru you lens.

Happy to oblige, thanks @shoemanchu.

Beautiful pictures! That first one is so interesting geologically speaking, you can see just how the glaciers shaped it in the last ice age. But all of them are nice, I love those larch trees in autumn, they are gorgeous!

I have to agree, the mountains are more fun that cats!

looks beautiful trees the one with the yellow color. what tree is that?

Some amazing places are on hwy 40! I'm glad to see you found another great place to enjoy. I always love your choice for photos!! You've nice ones today too. Kananaskis is such a special place!

Isn’t it! One of my favourite roads.

I think that's coo man. Looks like you could wheelie a Cr250 up that hill.

Loving the mountains :)
