I want to touch it

Jelly fish are such weird creatures. One of the coolest things I have learned about them is that they have been around for about 700 million years, making them one of the oldest species on the planet.

When I lived in Japan, I remember getting stung a few times by some jelly fish that washed up on the beach. They looked like nasty blobs and were pretty easy to miss as you are running into the water. You don't notice getting stung until a few minutes later when your skin is burning.

They are pretty fascinating creatures due to the fact that they have no brains or hearts. I really don't understand the purpose of these floating sting machines. But they do look pretty cool, especially under black lights like at the aquarium where I took these pictures.

Some species of these floating boogers have enough venom in them to kill humans as well, making them one of the most dangerous sea creatures. Good thing they are slow and can't really chase you, but I have seen images of massive swarms of jelly fish that would be hard to dodge if you were down diving or something and came up into a huge swarm of these things.

Getting tangled up in a swarm of jelly fish would be a horrible way to go out. I will just stick to looking at these things behind a window because I really did not like it when I got stung when I was younger and it wasn't even a bad sting. They are beautiful creatures though.

Well this explains alot! LOl, kidding. Jellys are amazing!
They do look really cool. Too bad they have spicy tentacles.
How amazing are these pictures my friend, I really like how they look!
My mom was also bitten by one of these things once when she went to one of the beaches here in my beautiful island and, well only for a few days she had a big spot on her leg but it was like a burn.
Thank you for the compliment. Hopefully your mom recovered from being stung.
It happened years ago brother, of course she recovered but thank you for your concern for my mother.
😮 Awesome! Was this in Cabo?
No. These were from a local aquarium. 7 more days until we will be in Cabo. Hopefully I can get some good shots there. It will be mostly GoPro pictures.
Oh! I'm sure you will have a great time. I'm excited for the photos you will be sharing!
I am very JELLY 😁
That you manage to capture Jelly fishes up close like that.
AMAZING shots 😍 and I love the ocean and driving, but I never been a BIG fan of Jelly fish on my face.
I got one on my face as a kid when I was driving and suddenly I had one on my face completley covering me 🙈 my vision got blurry and I paniced and threw it away 😁 lol
was a original without Venom
Still I find them fascinating and I would love to capture some.
Thank you for sharing and have a fantastic week. 😉✌️🌷
How do you get a jelly fish on your face while driving? So many questions.
Ohh 😁 diving not driving 🙈
Didn't realize I had written that sorry. I was swimming under water and got a jellyfish stuck on my whole face.. Lol
had bad times as a kid with a "caravela". its just like this...
it actually dosn't sting. but its tentacles are toxic as fuck and will leave burn marks where they get attached. hurts alot... check "caravela queimadura" on google, we had plenty of those in beaches.. on the sand you will see those "transparent blobs", but they actually dosnt hurt. just keep away from tentacles stuff lol
btw... nice pictures.. damm
That would suck to get stung by those things too.
=[
Thankfully I have never been stung by a jellyfish. Fingers crossed that it never happens. A swarm of jellyfish sounds almost as bad as getting chased by a swarm of hornets. Both would be terrible.
I don't know what would be worse between the jelly fish and hornets. I think hornets would suck worse.
is these the poisonous one sir? the box jellys?
I love jellyfish so much, they are amazing to watch
They are pretty cool how they just float around
yea
